Made of 2 fine solid hardwoods strongly laminated together. These are the finest wooden bones we have ever seen. Patterned after a pair of bones given to me by Percy Danforth. Very nicely finished. Boxwood is one of the finest musical instrument woods. Used in violins and the finest 18th century woodwind instruments. Very stable and resonant.

The boxwood and vermillion bone are great

The boxwood and vermillion bone are great. Delivery was fast and I immediately fell in love with the Look and feel. I like ;my bones short, no more than 7”, so I quickly and carefully cut them down to about 61/2”, then dressed the ends with a needle file. They now perfect!
