The Dominican tambora has a body made up of wooden planks fixed together and arranged in a cylinder. At both ends, membranes or patches, usually made of goat skin, are fixed to the body through hoops made of a flexible wooden stick. The patches are tightened by rubber bands or strings to tighten a ring against another. Today also used modern metal tensors similar to those used in the tumbler.
This drum is 14 inches tall, with a 10.5-inch drumhead.

I already play a mountain lap dulcimer, but this one gives the instrument a whole different dimension to playing. Really beautiful craftsmanship. Thus isn’t a toy, but a lovely wooden instrument. Very easy to play!

Multifacsited approach to something fun to do!

Plays like a dream. I have MS and am no longer able to play guitar, but this uke let's me play songs again and sing. I had no idea how much I'd missed having music in my body. Thanks, Lark!

I love these little hand carved wood whistles from Brazil

These are great! They have a grand sound!
