This is a half decorated Karaj/Pancham (Ravi Shankar style) sitar with 13 inlaid taraf (sympathetic) pegs, 7 lotus style main pegs, monochrome penwork and wood mount upper tumba. The bridges and fittings are synthetic, common to most sitars nowadays. An excellent intermediate instrument. This Kolkata shop provides instruments of consistent and durable quality. We have been getting sitars from them for the last 20 years, and are very pleased with them.

Included with any sitar purchase are a padded vinyl gig bag, an extra complete set of strings and 5 mizrabs: a $115 value.
