The Sparrow Hawk flute in the key of "A" minor (440 Hz) is one of our most popular flutes. It is made from Aromatic Cedar. Aromatic Cedar has a range of colors from ginger-orange to burgundy-red, it can also showcase sapwood which is the yellow wood color also present in Aromatic Cedar.

The key of 'A' is easy to play and ideal for any first time flute player learning to play. It has a soothing mid-tone musical voice, its 19-inch (48 cm) length makes it great for most hand sizes. This flute is tuned in the key of "A" minor but can also be played in the relative major diatonic scale in the key of "C".

The leather hole cover can easily be untied and removed, giving the flute player the option of playing the instrument as either a five hole flute or a six hole flute.
