Introducing the exquisite Roosebeck Mountain Dulcimer Grace Model, a recent addition to the esteemed Roosebeck line. This model boasts a vaulted fret board, enhancing soundboard vibration for superior sound quality. Crafted with an hourglass shape, its body, neck, nut, bridge, and fret board are made from solid sheesham, complemented by a silver-colored, crown-shaped tailpiece. The spruce soundboard features a charming sheesham skirt design and four rose openings, while the mechanical geared right-angle tuners with a 14:1 ratio ensure precise tuning. This dulcimer includes four strings: two melody, one middle, and one bass drone string, with the traditional DAD tuning recommended for ease of play. Accessories such as a pick, noter, and owner's guide are included.
Contemporary dulcimers like this one offer versatility with extra notches on the nut for personalized string patterns. The inside doubled melody string can be removed for a traditional 3-string setup, or adjusted for equal spacing among all four strings. This flexibility allows players to find their ideal setup. With specifications including a neck width of 1.25 inches at both the nut and body joint, a scale length of 25.5 inches, and 18 metal frets, this dulcimer is designed for both novice and experienced players. Elevate your musical journey with the Roosebeck Mountain Dulcimer Grace Model today!

Arrived pretty fast. I never learned to play dulcimer yet but I know someone who can teach
This dulcimer looks and sounds beautiful. Very playable and addictive. Great service too. Lark shipped it to me, who is on the other side of the continental US from them, in under a week.

Perfect size for the dulcimer I purchased recently!
I use the Susato Oriole Whistle head with PVC, bamboo, or carbon fiber whistle bodies that I make. The Susato head is precision made and helps my whistles to sound great.
When I first saw the goatskin, I wasn’t sure if it was what I was looking for but I tried it out, it’s pretty much perfect, I make traditional Yupik drums that come from southwest Alaska, in my language, the Yugtun, language we call out drums a cauyaq, and the drum head is traditionally a stomach membrane of a walrus or seal. As someone who lives in modern age, we have contemporary styles and goatskin is one of our contemporary style. For this application it works great.
I read about sistrums in a fantasy adventure book and had to have one! Lark listed one I could afford that combines old crafting techniques with bottle caps! The delivery was quick. I played around with it and was surprised at all the different chimes and riffs it could make. Right now it is displayed with my also-African-made soda can lion. I'm happy!
Nice sound
