Inspired by the Renaissance Lute, this Tenor-sized instrument boasts a 430 mm (17 inches) scale and features six strings, with the second (E) and third (C) strings doubled for a rich, full, and balanced tone. Despite its unique design, it is played like any standard 4-string ukulele. 

The Lute-kulele (TM) by Roosebeck is crafted with a European spruce soundboard adorned with the renowned Leonardo Knot rosette, a favorite among Renaissance lute makers. Its back is traditionally constructed with alternating staves of walnut and lacewood, while the neck and pegbox are made of solid walnut, featuring a cattle-bone nut with a width of 37 mm (1 1/2 inch).
